Welcome to First Pres SLO
We are more than just an old stone church on the corner of Marsh and Morro. We are an inclusive, caring community that comes together each week to hear the teachings of Jesus Christ and celebrate the grace of God. We are a safe place where strangers become friends, the wounded can find spiritual care, and the skeptic can ask questions. We live as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, serving others in our community and around the world.
Ash Wednesday Soup Supper & Worship

We begin the Lenten season on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 18th. We will gather for dinner and experience the communal joy of being pilgrims on a journey together.
Jazz Vespers Returns!
Join us Sunday, February 22nd at 4 pm with The G2 Project. The group is lead by award-winning architect George Garcia on piano and will also feature Dylan Johnson on bass and Darrell Voss on drums. The concert is free/donations appreciated and will be followed by a reception. Allen Estes, Ph.D. will provide the meditation.
