Welcome to First Pres SLO
We are more than just an old stone church on the corner of Marsh and Morro. We are an inclusive, caring community that comes together each week to hear the teachings of Jesus Christ and celebrate the grace of God. We are a safe place where strangers become friends, the wounded can find spiritual care, and the skeptic can ask questions. We live as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, serving others in our community and around the world.
Thursday Evening Bible Study
What does it mean for us as Christians to be free?
Join us as we explore Paul's Letter to the Galatians– there's a message for all of us as we grow as disciples. Classes will be posted to YouTube the next day, and past classes are also available on the website.
Wednesdays at the Rock
All Kids Welcome — Ages 3 Through 6th Grade
Join us every Wednesday from 4:30–7:00 PM! Dinner is included, along with Bible lessons, music, crafts, and games. We also take part in small service projects along the way, learning that every little bit helps.
