Families at First Pres

We partner with parents in sharing the joy, fun, challenge and adventure of being part of God’s family.

Our church is a family of faith, united with a common desire to live out the good news of Jesus Christ, who proclaimed all are welcome and are loved by God. We strive to live out this mission by creating the opportunities for each person to find acceptance, love and self-worth. 

Family Ministry

Families are the heartbeat of First Pres. As a community of faith, we committed to helping parents by providing opportunities to:  

• Connect and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Strengthen and develop healthy relationships with one another.
• Know they belong to a community where they can experience discipleship and mentoring as well as grow with as a family in the body of Christ.
• - Become God’s healing, reconciling, life-giving agents in our homes, schools, workplace, neighborhoods and the world.

We are committed to helping children by;

• Providing excellent nursery care and a dynamic children’s program that is centers on loving children and teaching faith in Christ
• Continuing to grow children’s faith though junior and high school youth groups

Journey – a Group for families that encourages fellowship support and growth in Christ.

• Monthly meetings for all member of the family
• Sunday morning classes focused on raising children, strengthen marriages and relationships
• Opportunities to participate in the mission of First Pres
